FINANCE DIAGNOSTICS

Useful numbers, not decorative widgets.

Every tool below calculates from your inputs and shows the logic behind the result. Where judgement is involved, we label the assumption instead of presenting it as a universal benchmark.

BOOKKEEPING RELIABILITY DIAGNOSTIC

How much decision-making weight can your books actually carry?

This score is about the reliability of the accounting records, not whether the business is profitable. It weights five control pillars, applies hard-stop caps to serious failures and tells you how confident the result should be.

FINANCE FUNCTION DIAGNOSTIC

Is the finance function strong enough for the decisions being made from it?

This version scores four pillars: performance resilience, cash resilience, working capital and control/reporting. It does not confuse a profitable month with a controlled finance function.

F&B UNIT ECONOMICS

Does the restaurant economics work after the costs that actually move?

Choose the operating concept, enter the site cost structure and set your own target margin. The score uses transparent planning bands as a sense-check, not a claim of audited UAE market averages.

PROFIT & BREAK-EVEN

What does the current cost structure actually require from revenue?

This calculator is deliberately arithmetic. Enter COGS as a variable percentage and the monthly operating costs you want treated as fixed-ish; it returns the operating result and break-even revenue implied by those assumptions.

CASH RUNWAY

When does cash cross the line management actually cares about?

A zero-cash date is too late to be useful. Set a minimum operating reserve, add expected one-off inflows/outflows and compare the base case with a simple downside case.

THE RULE

A score should be harder to game than a dashboard.

These are deterministic browser-side tools. We deliberately use hard-stop rules where a serious control failure can make an apparently healthy average misleading. For example, a business cannot score as having decision-grade books while a large share of bank or balance-sheet accounts remain unreconciled.

The tools do not claim to be an audit, valuation, tax opinion or universal market benchmark. They are designed to turn a first conversation into a structured diagnostic and tell you what evidence should be checked next.

WHICH ONE FIRST

Start with the decision you are trying to trust.

"Can I trust these books?"

Use the Books Reliability Score. It separates bookkeeping reliability from business performance and returns a confidence level plus three priority controls.

"Is finance actually under control?"

Use the Finance Health Score. It looks beyond profit to cash resilience, receivables, close speed, reconciliation and management reporting.

"Does this restaurant site work economically?"

Use the Restaurant Unit-Economics Score. Select the concept, enter your cost structure and set the operating-margin target you want the site to achieve.

"Where is break-even?"

Use the Profit & Break-even Calculator. Its result is arithmetic from your cost assumptions, not a rating disguised as precision.

"When does cash become uncomfortable?"

Use the Cash Runway & Downside. It distinguishes running out of cash from crossing the minimum reserve management wants to protect.
