A finance function becomes useful when every major number can be traced from source to decision. In F&B that means POS sales, delivery settlements, refunds, inventory purchases, payroll, VAT, bank movement and branch contribution cannot live in disconnected reporting worlds.
Start with source-to-ledger reconciliations, then branch P&Ls and prime-cost reporting, then cash forecasting. CFO analysis is most valuable after those layers are stable enough to support a decision rather than a debate about whose number is correct.
